Orchestration Work

After composing and arranging my own projects on Sibelius and Finale for three years, I am now beginning to pursue a career as a Music Copyist. I plan to secure an apprenticeship, internship, mentorship (any kind of "-ship") and help bring to life some amazing music.

"I Love Music" by Ahmad Jamal. Arranged by Trevor Gene Ross

This arrangement was adapted from Ahmad Jamal's 3 minute piano solo in his song "I Love Music" from the album The Awakening.

A fun exercise in orchestration and Sibelius with lots of virtuosic parts.

Cloudy Ocean

"Storm" - Jude and the Sea Witch

This piece is also from The Beach Bum.

Features extended techniques which emulate the sound of an approaching storm.

"Storm" was workshopped with students at UCSB in 2021.
